Alamogordo, NM, city commission supports New Generation Biomass' wood-fired power plant at Air Force base [From the web]

ALMOGORDO, NM, Jan. 15, 2013 (Local News) - Alamogordo will officially support a proposed biomass power plant, which city officials hope will create about 300 construction job and several dozen permanent positions.

The city commission voted last week to approve a "letter of support" for the Black Bear Biomass Energy Facility, which has yet to be built and would be located on Holloman Air Force Base.
