U.S. EcoGen may build three wood-fired power plants in Florida [From the web]

JUNO BEACH, FL, Dec. 30, 2012 (Local News) - Eucalyptus, a tree whose leaves koalas like to nibble on, could be providing the fuel for part of Florida Power & Light Co.'s customers' electricity within the next few years.

Juno Beach-based FPL said Friday it has signed three 30-year contracts with U.S. EcoGen, with offices in Jupiter and Potomac, Md., to purchase power which U.S. EcoGen plans to produce in Martin, Okeechobee and Clay counties.
