Shuttered ON Marathon pulp mill could be redeveloped as torrefied pellet facility [From the web]

MARATHON, ON, Dec. 19, 2012 (Northern Ontario Business ) - The former Marathon Pulp mill, dormant since 2009, could have a new U.S. owner willing to clean up and develop the brownfield site as a green energy industrial park.

The transfer of a contaminated pulp mill on the north shore of Lake Superior to a U.S. brownfield redeveloper could be completed by early next spring.
